Special Recordings

Mohlos Studio provides the following special services to professional and amateur musicians:

"Small" recordings

Mohlos Studio gives the opportunity to all of you - professionals, amateurs or students in music - to come and record with the instrument you play, or to sing your favorite song, using Studio's high-end equipment, and our sepcialized engineers. As soon as the recording has finished you will be able to get a cd (rough mix) of the recording, or even more cd's in order to share with your friends. This cd could be a nice musical souvenir for you and your friends, or a "picture" of the musical evolution of your children etc...

"Small" recordings are not at all small, because we use exactly the same high-end equipment as it would be a professional recording. All your recordings will be stored and will be available for further process in the future.

Location Recordings

Mohlos Studio's high - end mobile recording unit is ready to record your music at your place. The only necessary thing is the existence of an acoustically dry room (without big surfaces made of marble or glass) and of course isolated from external noise. Ideal places for such recordings are for example the sound treated conference rooms in big hotels, etc.

Mobile unit can record simultaneously 10 mic/line inputs (or 6 mic/line + 4 Direct Inputs) and provides four independent stereo cue mixes for the headphones. The elements of the mobile unit are:

• Audient 8 ch mic preamplifier with ADAT out
• Metric Halo ULN 2 Audio inerface
• Lexicon MX 400 XL
• RME Multiface
• Aphex headpod Headphone amplifiers (4)
• Neumann - Schoeps - Shure - AKG mics
• Sony - Beyerdynamic Headphones

At the end of the recordings a cd ((rough mix) will be available. The recording material will be stored and will be available to the musicians for further future process.
